Personal Testimony*Why I love serving the Altar Guild
Hello, I’m Sylvia Crua, leader of the Altar Guild here at St. Bernadette’s. We would love to recruit more members to our group, so I would like to share a few reasons why I love serving the Altar Guild.
I always feel joy when our parishioners’ faces light up when they are touched with our altar creations. I believe when we place one flower arrangement on the altar, whether a bouquet or a single rose, it can bring so much hope, peace, and joy to ones soul. It CAN lift ones spirit.
I love being around the beautiful ladies, our Altar Guild members, who I’m so happy to call my friends. My experience here at St. Bernadette’s, has made me feel more connected to the wonderful people at our parish, especially our inspiring leader, Fr. JohnPeter. Like with every Eucharist we consume, which draws us ever closer to Jesus, being part of this group, has made me feel connected to Jesus more than ever! I heard this saying, “God calls us first, not to a platform, but to an altar!” So If you are interested in serving the Lord by designing God’s beautiful altar, please contact our church office for information.
